Lifestyle Boudoir Photography
Unapologetically You
Unapologetically You
You’re here. That already means so much.
My lifestyle boudoir photography isn’t about fitting a certain image. It’s not about being ready or confident. It’s a chance to see yourself without needing to change anything first. It’s a space where you get to show up as you are—whatever that looks like today.
I don’t shoot in studios. I work in real spaces—your home, or a place where you feel at home. What matters is that you’re somewhere you can feel relaxed.
I won’t ask you to be confident. You don’t have to be. I won’t ask you to love your body. That’s not a requirement. All I ask is that you come as you are—and let that be enough.
Some people wear jeans. Some wear lingerie. Some stay mostly covered. Some not at all. All of it is valid. What we’re making here isn’t about looking a certain way. It’s about being seen.
We’ll go at your pace. We’ll take breaks. There’s no checklist to get through. Just small moments that feel honest, and worth holding onto.
If at any point you feel unsure, we stop. If something doesn’t feel right, we change it. This isn’t a show. It’s not for anyone else.
It’s yours.
And when you look at the images afterward, I hope—no, I know—they will remind you that you don’t have to wait until you feel “ready” to take up space.
Let’s start there.

As your lifestyle boudoir photographer
Your comfort is my priority.
I am dedicated to creating a comfortable vibe, one that lets you go through this experience as relaxed as possible.
My ultimate goal is that you leave with images that remind you of who you can be when you are given the chance to let go of all expectations.
Because authenticity is the foundation of everything I do, I don't photoshop your images. I want you to see yourself as you are—and to notice the beauty that’s yours alone.
So let's work together to create some beautiful images that will feel exactly right!
What I love about my job
As a lifestyle boudoir photographer, I'm lucky enough to witness first-hand the transformative power of body positivity and self-love. This is not just a job for me, it's a mission. I believe everyone deserves to feel beautiful and confident, regardless of their gender identity or body type. And that's what I strive to achieve in every session.
One of the things that I absolutely love about being a photographer, is the ability to capture the essence of who my clients are. Everyone has a unique story to tell, and I feel privileged to be able to help people express themselves through my photography.
I want to make people see how beautiful they truly are, and to help them feel proud and confident in their own skin.
I am a firm believer that lifestyle boudoir photography can be a powerful tool for self-expression and a way to explore what it means to take up space.
It's not just about taking pretty pictures - it's about helping you see yourself with a little less judgment and a little more love.
Celebrating the beauty and sensuality of every individual.
I am Caroline Nijs,
your lifestyle boudoir photographer.

What to expect?
My aim is to make this experience as easy and stress-free as possible.
I’ll walk you through each step—from booking to the viewing session—so you’re never left guessing. Once your session is confirmed, we’ll plan a pre-session consultation, then move on to the photo session itself, and finally your private viewing. The goal is simple: to create something you’ll remember. Not just the photos, but the entire experience.
You’ll hear from me regularly by email with updates, reminders, or things to think about before your session. As a neurodivergent, it’s my preferred way of staying in touch—clear, consistent, and easy to refer back to. I’m also happy to chat via DM if that’s easier for you. I just don’t do phone calls unless we’ve agreed on it in advance.
What is included?
-
When you book your session with me, we always have a pre-session consultation. This is a short video call to go over your ideas, concerns, and any preferences around location, styling, or mood.
You’ll also receive a client guide, and I’ll ask you to fill out a questionnaire so I can get to know you better before we shoot.
-
On the day of the photo session, I’ll introduce you to your hair and makeup artist. While they are working on your favourite makeup, I will take a little time to scout the best spots for shooting. We’ll also talk through your outfits and accessories.
Don't worry, you don’t need to know how to pose—I’ll help you get there naturally.
The result will be a set of photographs that reflect you in an beautifully authentic way.
-
Once your photos are ready, we’ll schedule a private viewing session where I’ll show you the final, edited versions.
This is why my turnaround takes a bit longer than some other photographers: I prefer to never show raw, unedited files. Do keep in mind, I don’t use Photoshop to alter your appearance, only to remove temporary blemishes.
During this session, we’ll also talk through product options to help you decide what best fits your space and preferences.
-
Whenever possible, I personally deliver your products.
