As you all by now, I am very adamant about what I stand for as a person and as a business.
I want to use my platform to support the causes that are dear to me.
I am dedicated to donating a part of my proceeds to causes that are dear to me. The common thread for those causes is equity. I strive to be an ally and a safe place for any of the target groups below.

Keeping it local
Because we moved from the USA to Switzerland, I had to do some research to find local organizations that support these causes. Given the fact that I do not master German well enough yet, that wasn't an easy process 🙂. I might add other organizations along the way. But for now, these are the ones I selected.
Capacity Zurich helps refugees and immigrants with launching a business or a sociocultural initiative in Switzerland. In order to do so, they organize workshops and training, they have a mentoring and coaching program and they organize network opportunities.
Herberge für Frauen
Herberge für Frauen offers women with or without children a supervised accommodation when they are forced in an emergency situation. They can stay up to 6 months and will receive help with figuring out the next steps. The professional women working at Herberge für Frauen will assist with everyday life issues, as well as referrals to specialized advice centers, offices, doctors, lawyers, ... .
This program is based on a peer approach. du-bist-du promotes the mental and physical health of young LGBTQ+ people and youth that is not sure yet how they identify. The program also works by bringing awareness to heteronormative youth communities, in order to decrease prejudice and discrimination against LGBTQ+ people.
Irene Perrotta from Heilpädagogisches Reiten offers special education riding for both children and adults. The horse-assisted therapy is a holistic support measure for children, adolescents, and adults. It helps people with disabilities, limitations, illnesses, or behavioral problems.
